Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System

Behavioral Health Care Services (BHCS) launched the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) Waiver on July 1st. The DMC-ODS pilot expands residential treatment, as well as detox, case management, and recovery residence/sober living environments. A 24 hours a day/7 days a week Substance Use Treatment and Referral Helpline: 1-844-682-7215 is now available.

BHCS/SUD is working closely with AC Care Connect to review the data quality and algorithm for AC Care Connect eligibility of SUD clients with a criminal background. The goal of the analysis is to ensure that all potential AC Care Connect consumers are being identified.

BHCS/SUD has released two new Release of Information (RoI) forms that allows SUD providers to share client information. An additional RoI that allows for sharing of client information and data with AC Care Connect and other external providers will be released in the next few months.
